Web 2.0 for Corporate Marketers

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

No game of buzzword bingo would be complete without the term “Web 2.0.” However, as much of a cliche as it may be, it is one of the most important terms that a corporate marketer should understand. So while the web is chock-full of definitions for this term, the following article illustrates an interpretation designed specifically for the corporate marketer.

Rich @ New Media Forum

I recently had the opportunity to join a panel of media professionals at The Ad Club of the Triangle in Cary, NC to answer questions and discuss topics surrounding changes in media. What do clients need and want? How do you measure new channels like digital signage networks? Is there push back from upper management? How do we, as an industry, overcome the challenges?

Heading up the creative here at EPInteractiv brings challenges all the time in changes of media. We’re not in the age anymore where people are only viewing our content on a computer monitor at their home or work. Mobile phones, handheld devices, gaming machines, and digital signage all bring new unique ways for consumers to digest content. It’s so key that we take the steps to make sure that our clients are approaching these devices and avenues in a smart way and using them to their fullest.
